In the official chart to be released tomorrow, 「Ballade Best」 hits the 13th spot according to this news update from the Oricon site:
13位は、デビュー25周年を迎えた、中森明菜の『バラード・ベスト -25th ANNIVERSARY SELECTION-』（初登場赤丸付、1.6万枚）
Due to a lack of promotion, it has not sold as well as 「歌姫ベスト」, but I think the sales are still really encouraging, and there is a high possibility that it will hit over 2.0 万枚. I think 13th is a good position and I am happier with that than 11th, which would have been more painful. Let’s hope that her TV promotion on the Karaoke show will bring more attention to this album, while we await newer material from her.

I was hoping for another Top 10 entry - I think the last time she had back-to-back Top 10 entries was way back in the mid-90’s. #13 is still great though. At the end of the day, it’s the quality of the music that really matters to me.

I guessed so. It all depends on promotion and whether Universal is happy to splurge more on promotion. There was no much done for this or Destination, so the sales were not so strong for the first week.
