As MG san pointed out in his comments, 艶華-Enka- rose three spots to No. 7 on its second day!
I don’t know if anyone else is facing the same problem, but my order from HMV is currently still unfulfilled because they still have not received stock for Version C (normal) and the cassette. It also looks like Amazon Japan and Neowing is facing the same problems, which leads me to three hypothesis:
(1) It is selling out
(2) Demand is outstripping supply and they can’t meet store demands (Japanese fans have commented that they can’t find some of the versions in CD shops)
(3) They are holding back for everyone to buy the more expensive versions.
Regardless, I want my 艶華-Enka- !! I hope this upward trend keepings its momentum because this is a really good album. If you have reservations about enka and is worried, even Hamu san who doesn’t like enka finds this album enjoyable. Go buy it … now!!

James, I think your 3rd hypothesis is the most likely one. In any case, HMV now has the normal version in stock and my copy is now "in transit" and will be shipped on July 1st (on a Sunday!?). Version B is sold out at HMV.
Get up, get up, get up, get up burning Enkaaaa!
omedetto!! so happy!! =) yes, it is a cinematic approach to enka. i’ve been playing the originals back to back with Akina’s renditions and apart from a couple exceptions, you’ll discover the originals now provide "no kick".
Jamez:
Just wanna let you know I had the same problem from HMV.
Until this morning, when I checked the status of my order, it was fullfilled and currently in transit! =)
I think I might just get them tomorrow morning! Hooray~~~ Just in time for the weekend too!
I think even my postman tried to highjack my version B, i should have got mine yesterday but for some reasons the parcel got re-routed to a different district. Maybe they’ve got wind that version B was sold out.
Oh, we are lucky here in Hong Kong. All J-pop products usually available in shops the same date of Japan.
Is the price lower in record stores than online shops?
Full version (with DVD) HK$420, about US$54
How much is it sold online?
About US$3 - 4 cheaper at HMV (plus delivery).
To Tai:
Shops is HK are such rip-offs when it comes to Japanese imports. The full version costs around HK$300 (~US$40) on-line, including postage - that’s a saving of HK$120 compared with the price that you quoted.
Wow, thanks for the info. Like Akina I’m that kind of tech-resistant person who have never ordered anything on line.
HK$300 is really cheap. It’s even cheaper than the retail price in Japan 5,000円, which equivalent to around HK$320.
