Just found this really cool vid on Youtube. Thanks to the originator who posted this. I remember a report of Akina singing Kyon’s 「なんてったってアイドル」 dressed up like Ann Lewis. I can’t recall if I have seen it though.
Anyway, here’s Akina with Ann herself dueting on three of Ann’s rock hits. A bit too noisy for my taste but I like the energy. Enjoy!

Interesting. Never heard of Ann Lewis before but she’s got one great rock chick voice. Even Akina can’t really compete with that but the music didn’t even sound like her at all. Though it sounded like she was holding back when she should have belted out some more high notes. Should’ve gone 1985 Summer tour Relax-like belting.
i thought Akina did very well considering she’s not really a hardcore heavy rock singer. Stock was her at her most "rock". interesting video which showcases the range Akina has.
